Creating a Lean Management System to Reduce Costs and Engage your Workforce

This presentation defines how lean can be the most effective management system in today’s economic uncertainty. Most lean initiatives cannot be sustained with the stroke of a pen, a leadership mandate, changing a system, a training program or restructuring.  The real gains to be had come from ensuring that it becomes everybody's job to find opportunities for improvement rather than the domain of a specialized few. This, we feel, is at the problem at heart of most organizations struggling to implement and sustain a culture of continuous improvement. We will explore the problems with the way most organizations implement continuous improvement and present a more effective model.
